Hallo,
diese Deklarationen sind alle in der "Declaration Quick Reference" erläutert. Ich stelle für die aufgeführten Werte die Erläuterung hier rein:
catia.LONBUF_GRAPHIC
Category: Environment Setup Parameter
Purpose:
This parameter is used by the CATIA administrator to manage the host and network loads by defining the amount of data CATIA displays on the physical screen. Limiting the graphic data display can reduce network traffic, graphic processing and improve local performances of the local transformations. The smaller the model displayed, the faster the response time.
In the UNIX workstation environment, this parameter can be used to control the network load or the system paging performance. With Motif CATIA and graphics CATIA, the minimum sized model that CATIA can display is not limited by the "real" memory installed on the workstation because UNIX pages memory on disk. Given, however, that excessive paging can reduce performances, you may want to limit the maximum size displayed.
This parameter behaves differently for Motif/graphics CATIA and 5080 CATIA systems; a same LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter value will have different results depending on the system you are using. The following distinctions in parameter use between 5080 CATIA and graphics CATIA can be made:
- 5080 CATIA:
With the 5080 CATIA system the LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter determines a maximum displayable model size. The value of the parameter must be less than 16MB, as 16MB is the maximum allowable memory in 5080 CATIA. The number of graphic elements displayed is calculated based on the available graphics memory.
- Motif and graphics CATIA:
The LONBUF_GRAHIC parameter is a value that represents the maximum size of a displayed model. This value represents an approximate size of the graphic data (in KB) used to display the model. This value is not as precise as with 5080 CATIA. Therefore it is recommended that the customer use a few representative models and scenarios, and a variation of the LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter to determine the value that provides the best performances.
There are two differences in the way Motif and graphics CATIA use this parameter as compared to 5080 CATIA:
1) The same value in the different environments (5080 CATIA and graphics CATIA) does not provide the same results. In general, graphics CATIA displays more data for the same value of the LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter
2) The network load and real requirements of the workstaion are not the same for the graphics CATIA and 5080 CATIA environments. the system administrator should review the value of this parameter when migrating from one environment to the other.
When working on either Motif, graphics or 5080 CATIA workstations, we recommend that you modify the value of the LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter using the LONBUF_RATIO parameter, which has been set up for this purpose. The LONBUF_RATIO parameter allows for 100% compatibility with the value established for the 5080 CATIA environment, thereby enabling you to tune the Motif and graphics CATIA environments to your specific requirements.
Type: Integer
Default Value: 400
Declaration Example: catia.LONBUF_GRAPHIC = 400;
Preceding Version Equivalence: lonbuf in CATPROF file
catia.LONBUF_RATIO_GRAPHIC
Category: Environment Setup Parameter
Purpose:
This parameter is reserved for use with both Motif and graphics CATIA. Its sole purpose is to allow the user to modify the LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter for running Motif and graphics CATIA. More specifically, you can have the same LONBUF parameter value for Motif, graphics and 5080 CATIA sessions, by modifying the parameter for Motif and graphics CATIA via the use of LONBUF_RATIO. The LONBUF_RATIO value is used as a coefficent applied to the LOBUF_GRAPHIC parameter value set.
The LONBUF_RATIO_GRAPHIC parameter can be used to minimize the difference in the amount of graphic data that is displayed during Motif, graphic and 5080 CATIA sessions. There are no formal guidelines for using this parameter since it is impossible to know in advance how customers are going to make use of CATIA. Nevertheless, if a customer needs to use the same USERENV.dcls file for Motif, grahics and 5080 CATIA workstations, then the use of this parameter could prove extremely useful.
Type: Integer
Default Value: 1000
Declaration example: catia.LONBUF_RATIO_GRAPHIC = 1000;
While in the default environment this parameter has an initial setting of 1000, a valid parameter for your system may be other than 1000.
Preceding Version Equivalence: catia_lonbuf in CATPROF file
catia.LONMOD_GRAPHIC
Category: Environment Setup Parameter
Purpose:
This parameter defines the size of the table in main memory containing references to the graphics segments in KBytes. The table is used to control references established between the model and the graphics segments. The LONMOD_GRAPHIC parameter normally has the same value as the LONBUF_GRAPHIC parameter.
Type: Integer
Default Value: 800
Declaration Example: catia.LONMOD_GRAPHIC = 800;
Preceding Version Equivalence: lonmod in CATPROF file
So, das war's. Rechtschreibfehler bitte ich zu entschuldigen und Garantien übernehme ich auch keine für obige Erläuterungen.
