Dear All,

my problem is, when we have 1 Eplan window open and again we open an archived project by double clicking the .zw1 extension file on windows explorer, a new instance of Eplan opens. so i have Eplan open twice on my screen. How we set Eplan up so that it opens in the same Eplan instance?
I hope the explanation understandable to all of you? please give your valued feedback as soon as possible.

Dear Prince Soni,

if you have restored the *.zw1 in your second instance of eplan, save the projekt in your normal projects directory. Close the second instance, and open the restored project (...*.elk) in your first instance. This should be no problem.

Dear Mr. ME1,

Actually we are using some Eplan backup file archiving software and we manage Eplan and that archiving tool in such a manner that it creates the backup automatically while we release the drawings, this tool also manages the Revision of the archived Eplan files. my problem starts when i try to open any backup from that archiving tool. it opens 2nd instant of Eplan. we can close the 1st instant manually but instead of closing it manually i am looking some solution to open that file in 1st instance itself.

Dear Prince Soni,

in eplan you can open backup files in your first instance, not by open it in windows browser.

In German: Projekt->Wiederherstellen->Projekt->(Dateipfad mit der zw1-Datei)

In English should be like this:
Project->Restore->Project->(Path where youre *.zw1 is)
Another window should open, where you can choose the path of your *.zw1. Select it, and it will open in your first instance.

So you can open the zw1 directly in eplan, and not by the windows browser.
