Pocketing, 4-Axis Pocketing
The Concentric tool path style has been enhanced to reduce the machining time:
For external domains, the number of small passes in concave areas has been reduced.
For closed pockets that are large enough and convex, the tool path is optimized by mixing concentric and offset motions (both respecting the radial engagement). The result is a shorter machining time.
For softer material like aluminium, you can take advantage of the concentric tool path style and drastically reduce air cut motions using the zig-zag mode.

A new parameter (Overhang) imposes a radial engagement of the tool on the soft boundary trajectory,
thus controlling the load on the tool. For new programs, this option is activated by default, for existing
programs, the behavior is unchanged.
A new parameter (Upward rework step) optimizes the Roughing machining time: The downward
roughing planes are computed with large steps, then the remaining material on the wall is removed with upward smaller axial steps.

You can now search and load the saved filter.
Appending the context
You can append to update the newly computed manufacturing context to an existing loaded context.
Last Loaded Information
The Last Loaded Context command allows you to save from V5 information.
Appending in the Client side context
You can load one or more manufacturing context in V5 DPM optionally using the existing load commands one after the
other incrementally.
Save Currently loaded information
You can save input used for computing the On The Fly Manufacturing Context and user can save the input with name.

Use the volumetric filter on a subassembly's data only
In previous releases, when you used the volumetric filter, all items that met the volumetric criteria were loaded. Now you
can specify a subassembly so that only data from that subassembly that meet the criteria is loaded.
When a DPM session is linked to an ENOVIA server, you can load data from DPE into the same DPM session
Previously, a batch offered a similar functionality. Now a VB script is offered.
