SP91402 - SMARTEAM on Windows
For further information, review the Program Directories available at URL:

Special Notes:
1) SMARTEAM on Windows
During the installation:
- The progress bar will show R13SP6.
You can ignore the incorrrect text of this informational message.
- If installing from CDs (as opposed to a server), you will be asked to
insert V5R14SP1. As SP1 was included in the GA, you must insert the
V5R14GA CD, instead.
Very few copies of SP2 were delivered from the IBM distribution centers
before 24 November. If you were to use such a CD instead of the ones
currently being delivered, the following errors might occur:
- User requested to insert R13SP6 CD instead of R14GA/SP1 CD
- Inability to remove SmartBOM product after the installation
- Wrong version number on the SmartBOM been included in the GA
- A second installation of SmarTeam R14 SP2 fails to recognize SmartBOM
2) CAA API AIX 32 and 64 bit
Via CD-ROM, CAA API cannot be installed on AIX 32 bit workstation or
servers. It can, however, be installed on AIX 64 bit machines and all
other supported UNIX machines because the installation procedure on the
CDs is the 64 bit version which is not runnable on a 32 bit machine.
Bypasses:
- Run the installation on a AIX 64 bit machine, or
- Run the installation on another UNIX workstation and mount the
directory where you install the CAA API on the AIX 32 bit machine on
which you wish to develop.
3) In Catia V5R14, it is no longer possible to create a new sheetmetal part
in the Sheetmetal Design workbench. The user is notified to use the
Generative Sheetmetal Design workbench instead. The Sheetmetal Design
workbench can still be used for edition and modification of any existing
sheetmetal parts previously created within this workbench.
