Hallo zusammen!

Seit geraumer Zeit gibt es ja für V5 anscheinend ein Composite Modul....hat irgendjemand damit überhaupt schonmal gearbeitet?

Wäre nett etwas darüber zu erfahren, da unser Systemlieferant nicht mal annähernd Auskunft darüber geben kann.

Hi Firefly,
at the moment there are more basic questions:

1. Where is the advantage of defining the plies in the CAD? Just to get a more precise model (thicker where are overlaps, staggered plies, etc.)Or is it also possible to make a draping analysis. IŽm quite sure I can save the plies in real length and shape to send it to the cutter?

2. If I decide to use the composite covering, can I import the already defined plies into FEA to start a calculation?

As you can see, the questions are like: if I spend the money to get CPD, where will be the advantages of using it and where makes the CPD the whole process from design to manufacturing faster/easier?

I would be glad, if you can give me some information (our CAD supplier still doesnt know...)
