Moin,
ich habe mal jemanden angemorst und ein paar Begriffe von ihm
bekommen. Vielleicht ist ja das Richtige dabei -- Relieving cut
scheint mir gut zu passen.
=========
Roughing cut: Coarse-finish first-pass cut for bulk material removal
Cleanup cut: Removal of surface imperfections (eg flash in castings) -
may be done with disc-grinder, end-mill, bullnose cutter etc. -
Spot-face / Pad face: Localised cleanup (eg small circular or oval patch) for
purposes such as registration/gauging, porting, clamping, stamping ...
Skim cut / Fly-cut: light, incomplete facing cut to remove minor surface
imperfections over a large, flat area (mostly cosmetic)
Plunge-cut / Pocketing: Deep plunge to create recess or pocket.
Snagging / Docking / Fettling: Sawing, disc-cutting etc. to remove risers,
tags, vents etc. esp. from castings.
Relieving cut: Removal of potentially-interfering material to clear another
part, motion-path etc.
Swarf Cut: Special kind of roughing cut where machining is optimised
for maximum rate/efficiency of chip removal.
Hogging: Roughing cut applied at maximum possible depth & cutting-
rate
