hallo,
WIN benutzt ja ANSI, ME10 roman8 als Schriftsatz. Habe grosse Dateien, die ich aus einer WIN-Datei lesen muss, dann  roman8 konvertiere. Mit meinem ME10-Makro dauert das ewig. Wer kennt ein Tool, mit dem man eine 80 MB grosse Datei sehr schnell konvertieren kann?

Hi Andreas,
zumindest bis ME10 8.7 (Windows) war im Programmverzeichnis von ME10
ein Programm filetrans.exe dabei, mit dem genau dies realisierbar ist.

FILETRAN <sfile>,<dfile> [/T<src>:<dest>] [/N<n>] [/F<table>] [/L]

sfile    The source file to be translated.
dfile    The destination file which is the translated version of the
          source file.
/T        Specifies the file translation using the names of the source and destination character set.
/N<n>    Specifies the file translation by number <n> as displayed
          by the /L option.
/F<table> Specifies an optional external table that contains the File
          Translation Table.
/L        List the File Translations Table to your screen.

Mit /F kann man sich sogar eine eigene Tabelle basteln.

Ich habe filetran gezippt angehängt.
