I am a newcomer in the CAD world and have just installed Catia v5 r 12. Its running a bit of slow.
Could anybody tell me the advised minimum system requirements please?

I would also like to know how i can improve the efficiency of my system while working with catia.

Since i am a newcomer i probably wont need most of the ports of Catia in the beginning so it wouldnt be bad if you could give me an advice concerning the improvement of the efficiensy of my system.

and welcome to the CAD.de community 

The forum here is organised in various categories, here you are writing into the message board for the community itself. CATIA V5 has its own category ( see this link), please choose a board there, in doubt choose CATIA V5 Allgemein (general)

Note: this is a german speaking forum, hopefully you can read german threads, but don't expect too many answers, if you write your questions in english ... and maybe this is the only english answer you will ever get here 

So please repost your question (hopefully in german) in the CATIA v5 boards, I will close this thead here like I usually do with posting, which don't belong here.
