Hallo,
wir planen Pro/I 3.3 M022 mit WF2 M130 einzusetzen (Update von WF 2003490 und Pro/I 3.3 2003290).
Gibt's Erfahrungen mit dieser Kombination?
Als Alternative, welche Version von Pro/I 3.4 ist empfehlenswert?

Title An assembly family table may get corrupted (some fields loose their value, get empty in the family table editor) in Pro/ENGINEER together with Pro/INTRALINK 3.3 M021 on a Windows 2000 platform.
Details Additional Information
Description
-----------------
An assembly family table may get corrupted (some fields loose their value, get empty in the family table editor) in Pro/ENGINEER on a Windows 2000 platform after switching the workspaces using #Tools #Server Registry or doing a Workspace action while a linked Pro/ENGINEER is still open.
The issue is only reproducible with assembly family tables that replace components with other instances of the same part family table.
Example:
asm_gen.asm has the following instances: asm_inst1.asm and asm_inst2.asm
prt_gen.prt has the following instances: prt_inst1.prt and prt_inst2.prt
prt_gen.prt is a component of asm_gen.asm. This component is replaced with prt_inst1.prt in asm_inst1.asm and with prt_inst2.prt in asm_inst2.asm.
This may happen under the following conditions:
- The family table is retrieved into Pro/ENGINEER and then erased from memory.
- The workspace is switched in Pro/ENGINEER using #Tools #Server Registry to another workspace and then back to the original workspace
- The family table assembly is retrieved again into the same Pro/ENGINEER session.
OR
- The family table is retrieved into Pro/ENGINEER and then erased from memory.
- A workspace action (like checkin, checkout or duplicate object) is done while the linked Pro/ENGINEER session is still open.
- The family table assembly is retrieved again into the same Pro/ENGINEER session.
Now some fields in the family table editor appear empty or contain non-printable characters (a small square or pipe symbol).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This issue is ONLY reproducible on Windows 2000.
This issue is ONLY reproducible in the combination of Pro/INTRALINK 3.3 M021 and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire or Wildfire 2.0!
The issue is NOT consistently reproducible and may occur sporadic.
The issue seems to be data-specific. At the moment there is no indication why it happens for some assembly family tables and not for other assembly family tables.
Alternate Techniques
------------------
1.) Do not use #Tools #Server Registry. Contact PTC Technical Support to get a description on how to disable the 'Server Registry' window. This will only partially prevent the issue from occuring!
2.) Always exit Pro/ENGINEER when doing workspace actions (like checkin, checkout or duplicate object).
Resolution
-----------------
This issue is NOT Pro/ENGINEER related and is resolved in Pro/INTRALINK 3.4 and 3.3 M022.
