Die 8m4 läuft nicht mit m-quest2000!
Sobald man im MD eine Zeichnung weglegt, hängt sich I-DEAS auf (Dr.Watson).
Wahrscheinlich hat die m4 das Problem, dass das 'm-form_init'-Makro nicht ausgeführt werden kann.
Wer kennt das Problem, hat vielleicht einen work-around?
Umgebung: NT4sp6a(oder W2Ksp2), 8m4, m-quest2000(f)

An diesem Problem arbeitet M-Quest. Laut meinen Infos soll das Problem Mitte Oktober behoben sein. Das Problem tritt nicht auf, wenn nur M-Plot installiert ist. Die Probleme werden von M-Form hervorgerufen.
Workaround ist mir nicht bekannt: abwarten?!

with the new I-DEAS 8 release many new enhancements were announced.
But with new enhancements, some M-QUEST application, especially M-FORM
and M-BASE had their troubles. With the 8m4 release, we were able to
put M-FORM and M-BASE on the same level like in I-DEAS MS7.

The new M-QUEST 2001a release has a re-written M-FORM application.
This will work until I-DEAS 7x and _only_ with I-DEAS 8m4. The
database of M-FORM is converted into a text symbol. Locked array's are
not needed anymore. M-QUEST 2001a takes also care about the userprof
macros, which will also work in 8m4. No crashes will happen when you
put away a drawing from the workbench.
