Hi, I have some questions regarding the EPLAN API license. Should the API license be purchased separately? I already have a license for EPLAN and I saw the API .dll files in the installed folder. Hi, the EPLAN API files are always distributed with the correspondent EPLAN Version.
This means you always can see the API files.
For using them you need a EPLAN API licence. regards

Some functions you can do with Scripting but not all.
You can have a look to the EPLAN online help to chapter about actions.
This commands you all can use with Scripting.
Also there is a menu point under utilities?? called "automatic working???"
( don't know exactly how this items are named in english Version of eplan)
where you can do some Automation in eplan. e.x. report Generation. Then you can have a look at the suplanus.de Homepage of J. Weiher.
He has written a lot about Scripting in eplan.

So these are the functions I can use with scripting correct?: http://www.eplan.help/help/platformapi/2.7/en-us/help/API%20Actions.html The two functions I want to use are this and this I think. Both are inside Eplan.EplApi.HEServices Namespace. So I am guessing it is not free and cannot be done with scripting? Zitat:
