Currently using NX6 but have always noticed this problem. Doing renderings in particular is where it is the worst. Basically NX starts allocating memory as it performs a task. The more complex the task, the more memory is used of course. But when the task is completed the memory is not dumped. So I can do a rendering on a part that takes 3 minutes, then do another and another, and by the time I'm on say the 5th rendering it takes 10+ minutes. I can confirm this behavior of NX, from time to time. But i don't have a solution. One way is to report the problem to Siemens, an other could be be the following: Search for a Tool, that simply allocates Memory and then releases it again.
