Hi Larin Croft,
some people buy a car and then they pushed it by manpower from point A to point B!
I mean the place where the parts are build in is not so important. More important for me is the function. I want to see what a part of control is duing not where it is build in.
In the last 20 years i build many plant or machine controls. Some of them had functions over 2 or 3 cubicles. In your sight i have to search in 2 or 3 circuit diagrams to see the whole function. That is not good, but if it is good for you, ok, do it!
But think about that. If i would be a customer of you and you send me a circuit diagram structure like that, i would it send back and say build it in normal way, like WSCAD has it engineered. I dont want to change my properties all the time if i want to see the different cubicles. Some other engineers see it the same way, i think!
