Dear friends,
there are six machines in the plant. Machines =10, =20, =30 have your electrical components (-K, -S, -F, … etc.) and common circuits =00 (PLC, power supply, incoming circuits, etc.) placed in the box +R1.
Machines =40, =50, =60 and common circuits =00 have components placed in the box +R2.

In other words, there are two boxes (switchgears) +R1, +R2 in one project with name COMPRESORS.

My task is to draw schemes +R1, +R2 as separate parts e.g. +R1 the one part (circuit diagram and material list) and +R2 the second part (circuit diagram and material list) of project the COMPRESORS.
Be so good and explain me how can I put this project structure into Project manager in Wscad 5.1.
(The Project manager in CPP eat only prefix sign = (higher level destination) but boxes are named +R1, +R2 (location of components)).

Hey Larin,

are you drawing with the english version or the bavarian version?

I think it would not be too strange to create the project:
(I dont know the structure of menus in the english version)
1. Create a new Project "Compresors" in KTP-mode (?!)
2. Create the subprojects =00, =10, =20....
3. Craete the new circuit diagram with the locations +R1 or +R2

WSCAD arranges the Projects/Pages in order of the plant, not the location.
Maybe you can do anything with the attached project, its a little project ?

Hi ralfm,
I am starting with Wscad 5.1!  Many thanks for your message. I try your procedure, but I think now, it’s very difficult.
My project of +R1 and +R2 is no so small (ten panels of the switch-board for each, I think now and from that two panels of PLC for each). That was only example.
I contacted Wscad support many times, but they don’t reply me. That’s no nice from their firm.

Only little notice:
I think that is very funny, that Wscad SW engineers want to teach electric designers how they may make your projects.
I think that Wscad’s “Project management” is part of last century! I don’t comprehend why Wscad wants put on a look as Eplan. It’s silly idea! They must be competition of Eplan!

I think both of them are playing in different leagues because of the prices

I took a look at the english manual. I didn´t read all of it, but maybe you can find some help from page 126 and the following.

You can’t say that cheap means bad. Wscad is good SW in many respects is better than Eplan.
But “Project management” is horrible.

And one question yet: Is it possible to kill or to disable Project management with properly working automatic functions (cross references etc.)??? I mean in some *.ini file or thereabouts.

I don´t say this. I am using both of them. For example, the Škoda Octavia RS better than any VW, in my opinion.

@your question: You can make any circuit diagram without the project management, but it would be a bit difficult because of new sheets, sheet data(sheet contents)...You can generate all you can generate with the project management by choosing every draft for every analysis you want. Also the project data
will only work as a variable not as a placeholder.
Since I am working with WSCAD, I want to use the project management because of easier hadling of all those data, although I think it works good since version 4.4.

WOW, I hope, no real english-speaking people will read my english

I don't think so.
If you save a frame into some folder e.g. C:\001, you can see that the automatic numbering is dead. Now you can paste a contactor in sheet and paste aux. contact too. Wscad makes cross reference. If you move this aux. contact now in other field, then cross the reference don’t generates new position of aux. contact. So, the automatic functions are killed.
You can try it.
