About RecurDyn output files
When you solve a motion solution using RecurDyn, several files are created:
•RMD — The solver dataset. You can also generate this file manually (for more information, see Export RecurDyn input file).
•MSG — The record of the solving process. You can check this file for detailed error information if the solve does not complete successfully.
•RAD — Animation data, generated after a successful solve. When the RAD file is loaded, the corresponding RPLT file also is loaded so you can review the animation and graphing.
•RPLT — Graphing data, generated after a successful solve.
