Moin.
Weil mein Deutsch ist nich gut genug für solche technische Fragen, wurde ich im English schreiben. Ich hoffe, das das wird nich Problem sein.
I have a question about flattening the sheet metal models, that are not created with NX sheet metal. I refer here to surface models, that are normally flattened with OneStep-Analyze formability command.
1.Step one image shows my initial sheet metal. Let's say, that I always work with sheet metal plates, that have those dimensions, shown in the image.
2.Step two shows, which model I want to get. So, from plate in step one, I would like to get the model, shown in step two. I know, that in reallity, this wouldn't be possible or at least practical. My final model is 10mm wider that the inital green plate. But anyay, the green plate is my initial plate and the blue model is what I want to get from the green plate.
3.Step three shows the surfaces and my prediction, that red vertical surfaces will be thinner.
4.Now, here is my question. If the green plate has 1mm thickness, what is the thickness of the final blue model? I know, that blue model has to be thinner, because it is larger then the green plate. But I would like to know, what is the thickness of this final blue model, that is created from the green plate?
Vielen Dank für alle Ideen.
MfG.
