Dear Autodesk Customer,

It has come to our attention that you submitted customer error reports while crashing when open drawings, or insert raster files in AutoCAD 2008 SP1 based products.

I would like to inform you that Autodesk just posted a hotfix resolving this issue.  Please access it on http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=DL10189158  See readme for details and installation instructions.

Important: this hotfix can only be applied after AutoCAD 2008 Service Pack 1 is installed.  Do not apply this hotfix if Service Pack 1 is not installed.  If needed, you can install AutoCAD 2008 Service Pack from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=10035892&linkID=92406 18
