Cutlist management is available in DBSolidEdge R14 by checking the option Environment → Cutlists → Save Cut List as Distinct Records
Cutlist management is based on the Solid Edge Frame members concept and it is applied to asm documents at first hierarchical level.
Important notes:
only Part Document type is available (Frame components are based on Part Files)
Property → Field association list is available. By default, LENGTH (runtime value) and MATERIAL (related to base part) properties are always computed and stored for each cut-list item. It is possible to specify additional items in the association list (with the exception of LENGTH and FILE_NAME, managed internally) with reference to existing custom properties of related base part document
the Options Never create child records for Sheet Metal Parts and Override Base Parts BOM quantity with Cut-List Items BOM quantity are not available in SE
the Option "Never create child records for cut list items marked as 'NO_BOM'" is not available now, due to SE ST5 Api limitations
At Frame command level (SE asm environment: Tools → Frame), DBSE is integrated at FSB to select Frame components:
