Sometimes I need to create an hole over an already existing hole. Example: i have an hole DIA 5 mm and I need to create an other hole G 1/8 for the greaser, with the center in the same point of the center of the existing DIA 5 hole. Modeling refuses to create the second hole complaining that the selected center point does not belong to the selected surface. Is there a way to escape from this issue, other than to delete the first hole? Eine Antwort auf diesen Beitrag verfassen (mit Zitat/Zitat des Beitrags) IP |

I can just show it to you in V18 and in german. There is no face where you clicked, because in the center of the hole is only air The existing feature can be "switched" (exchanged) into another feature. You could choose the feature "hole with partly threat". But if the first hole is not a feature you can only delete it before making the new one. And I believe you can not put two features at the same place. ------------------ Eine Antwort auf diesen Beitrag verfassen (mit Zitat/Zitat des Beitrags) IP |
