I'm modelling indentation of honeycomb sandwich panels, where the Honeycomb cells (S4R) are tied to the face sheets (SC8R) with tie constraints (*TIE) with general contact. I get "Disconnected surfaces in the general contact domains are tied together, but the surface connectivity is not altered, creating a seam in the contact surface. Nodes along the tied surface perimeters have been added to node set WarnNodePerimTieSeam.", which says that the nodal connectivity is not altered. But if I monitor the TIEDSTATUS field variable, it's connected until the element fails. So, what is the impact of this warning? Reduction in stable time increment or anything?

Have you highlighted that mentioned node set in the visualization module? Maybe it gives you an idea what is meant. But it could also be the case, that the warning has no impact at all at the simulation.
