hi,
i've a question about wm ....
i use it on a pc with win 2000-pro as server (p2p network)
Now i've installed a new domain server as file server but i've not idea to move wm installation to the new server

When i try to use wm from the pc it doesn't work.... it ask to me for 'input file name'...???!!!
I've changed only the user profile to the client pc it happen when i join the pcs to new domain ...
what can i try to do?
Any variable to set? (i dont think because if i disconnect the domain user and i use the old-one it work) any file to copy under application data?

Ich installiere gerade eine neue Domain-Server uns seitdem die Users sich an den neuen Server kolligieren, die WM Programme fragt 'input file name'.
Die WM Server hat nicht gewechselt aber nur die Profile des Users  hat sich gewechselt.
welche file oder Variabeln muss ich von den alten zur neuen profile kopieren? oder an jene Anfrage, was muss ich tun??

I've got close to zero experience with WorkManager installation and setup, so I will probably not be able to help much. However, maybe we can clarify the situation so that others can help.

If I understand your description correctly, you have a new server PC which is used as a domain server and as a file server.

You also said that you want to move WorkManager to the new server. Do you mean the server components, or WorkManager clients, or both?

I remember faintly that in order to run WorkManager clients, certain environment variables need to be set (WMDT_PROFILE, WMDT_DIR). Maybe those environment variables were set in the old user accounts, but not in the new ones?

You might also want to try the International User Forum at http://www.cocreateusers.org/forum.  There have been a number of WorkManager/ModelManager-related discussions there recently, so I'm guessing that you may also find some more help there.
