Subject: R9 SP5
Hello,
I am trying to install SP5 of R9 (on a Win box) and I get the following problem : After the 2nd window a message box appears and says that some Dassault processes are currently running, and suggests an automatic kill. If I answer Yes (or No ...), the installation stops, and all s-pack windows disappear !
No Catia process is running (or it seems), and even after rebooting my PC the problem is still there.
Any idea ?
Marc

Subject: Sp5...
Hi Marc,
That seems to be a new joke attached with the current Service Pack (ahaha..qu est ce qu on rigole...) from DS developpers. But what you can do to avoid this is launching the SP in batch mode, i.e run : ..\intel\StartSPKB.exe instead of ..\intel\StartSPK.exe. You can also add some options if you want, like -bc to commit automatically, etc,etc..
Hope this helps..at least, that worked on my station!

Excellent idea, it works.
StartSPKB -killprocess -v (add -bc to commit)
Thanks
Marc
PS: ahahah ... cette fois je rigole, mais c'est pas toujours le cas ...

I've had this problem on 2 out of 5 machines, thanks for the fix.
