Hi Team

I'm looking for an Idea of how to solve my Problem

I have very big assembly (over 11k parts) from which I have to create an allcatpart representing just outside "shell" of the assembly. For that, I need to select and copy all outside visible bodies from within each part/component, so at the end, I would finally have around 200 outer bodies representing whole assembly, without inner bodies, which are not visible anyway, and make the allcatpart heavy as hell  

Do you have any idea how to solve this problem? Is there any extra CATIA License I could get what I want with?

If tessellate data are OK for you, may check silhouette or wrapping function from the DMU Optimizer.

Hello

CGR data is no go for me,as I still need "design mode" of all outside surfaces of the product, especially to define interfaces...

Basically what I need is to take allcatpart of the Product, and remove all of its guts, so at the end I have just the outer shell of the product (lightweight when it comes to manage / storage,but still having "editable" all necessary surfaces)

Any examples of the 3rd party soft for that? Or maybe is it possible with VBA programming? Would "search for non-visible bodies and delete them" work? What do you think?

I have no idea to do this via a macro.
Also I haven't used any eternal tool for that, only seen some adds for tools which have such function.
