Hello!
Im useing now VBA with Catia V5, but there is a quastion is it possible to use VB.net or VB with Catia to write a separate exe file that works with Catia  ?? and do enybody has some tutorials or materials to learn that stuf.

Hi Tom,

try to define in VB.net CATIA like this:       

CATIA = Nothing
On Error Resume Next
CATIA = GetObject(, "CATIA.Application")
On Error GoTo 0

Afterwards you can use with this object every normal CATIA command, like you are used to in VBA.
