Hi

How can I unfold bent rod? I can unfold sheetmetal part with unfold function, but how to do that for rod?

I tried to extract half of rod surfaces, join its edges - but that's length of the rod after bending... How to unfold its axis

Tried to uplaod a screenshot, but it seems I'm doing something wrong :P

Hi,

Screenshot is all right, I can see your tube (should be a tube = hollow ... unfolding a rod would not make sense is GSMD)

You might need a tear line. The wireframe in your pic looks quite right for that purpose.
