Hello,

I am analysing a 3D hyperelastic model in contact with a rigid surface. I want to perform compression as well as shear on the same model in the same analysis. I am able to perform compression on the model but I am not able to perform shear. I want to apply boundary conditions on the compressed model but I don't know how to do it. The boundary conditions are getting applied on the initial model and not on the compressed one. Could anyone please help me how to do it? The input text file is attached for reference.

Same analysis different scenarios?

How about to define 2 or more time steps in a single analysis? It would give you the opportunity to activate/deactivate the boundary conditions in each step.

I only know the way defining more time steps.
