Hi,

I am simulating Wear using Ansys WB V15. I used the built in Archard wear model. I defined wear using the commands under connections(frictional). I got the solution. But when i tried to change the parameters in Wear model, i still get the same solution. I'm not sure whether the Wear model is being considered during simulation. Is it correct?  I'm not sure where i'm going wrong. I went according to the manual.

Is it a static analysis? Which parameters did you change? You also could provide pics for better understanding.

Hallo Moe,
Thanks for the reply. I'm using Transient structural. Its a simulation between Brake Pad and Rotor.
Pad is deformable. I need to see the Wear on Pad. I simulated with and without Wear command. But the solution is same. I couldn't see any difference in z.b Equilibrium Stress.
