Hallo,

ich wollte in Alibre Xpress die Übung im Video (Becher) nachbauen.
Allerdings funktioniert das Feature "Aushöhlung" nicht. Der Button
ist grau unterlegt.

Moin,

"Aushöhlung" ist offenbar nicht Bestandteil von Express. Hier der
Text aus dem Tutorial (Alibre-Pro) (allerdings Englisch):

Note: Not all versions of Alibre Design include the Shell feature.
From the Feature main menu, look at the Shell option.
If it is grayed out, you do not have this feature.
See the section "Shelling the Part Manually" below to create this feature.

Es sollte also im Tutorial einen Abschnitt geben wo beschrieben
ist wie's manuell geht (entweder Rotations-Ausschnitt oder nur
Ausschitt). Der englische Text liest sich so:

Shelling the Part Manually
If your version of Alibre Design does not include the Shell feature,
you can use an extruded cut feature to replicate the model shown above. 

Click Select if it is not already selected.
Move the cursor over the face on either end of the extrusion.

Note: Since the part is symmetric, it does not matter which end you use.

The face is highlighted red when your cursor is over it and the cursor
changes to indicate that it is over a face. 

Click the highlighted face.

The face is selected and is now highlighted yellow.

Select the Activate 2D Sketch tool .
  You have now entered 2D Sketch Mode. 
  Select the Project to Sketch tool .
  The Project to Sketch dialog appears, and the selected face automatically
      appears in the Entities to project field.
  Choose Create reference figure.
  Click OK.
All of the edges of the face are projected into this sketch as reference figures.
Select the Offset tool . 
  In the Figures to offset field, select each of the reference figures in the sketch. 
  In the Distance field, enter .250".
  Click OK.
The sketch figures are created as shown here:           
Select the Extrude Cut tool. 
  In the Sketch field, the sketch will be automatically entered.
  In the Type drop-down field, select To Geometry.
  In the To Geometry section, click in the  Target field, then select the opposite
    face of the enclosure part in the workspace. 
  Set the Offset  to be -.250". 
Click OK. 
 
The cut extrusion feature is applied to the part in the work area and is listed
in the Design Explorer as Extrusion<2>.

Hallo modeng,

danke für die super Beschreibung.

Ich hab erst das angehängte PDF übersehen und hab mir schon
gedacht wie soll ich da zurecht kommen. Ich hab nämlich die
deutsche Version installiert und da die einzelnen Menüpunkte
zu übersetzen ist nicht einfach.
Aber mit dem PDF denk ich klappts auf jeden Fall. Ich hatte
leider noch keine Zeit das auszuprobieren. Aber das werd ich
am Wochenende spätestens nachholen.

Moin,

danke, aber die Beschreibung ist das Original Tutorial, obwohl
DE eingestellt bleibt die in Englisch (glaub auch nicht das die
ueberhaupt uebersetzt wurde)
Es war das einfachste, da, wie zu sehen, das kaum knapp zu beschreiben
ist.
